LUX* South Ari runs 193 villas and pavilions across a 2-mile-long island — Beach Pavilions, Beach Villas, Romantic Pool Water Villas, Temptation Pool Water Villas, and the four-bedroom LUX* Villa for buyout-style stays. Most overwater categories include private pools.

Whale Sharks & Diving

The South Ari Atoll Marine Protected Area sits directly off the resort — South Ari is the Maldives' most consistent whale-shark zone year-round, plus the resort runs a full PADI dive centre with reefs, mantas (seasonal), and resident reef sharks.

Dining

The line-up runs eight restaurants and bars, including the over-water East Market (pan-Asian), Allegria (Italian), and the beach-side Senses Bar. The resort runs an all-inclusive plan that bundles dining and spa.

Logistics

Transfer is a 25-minute seaplane from Velana International Airport, or a domestic flight to Maamigili plus 10-minute speedboat. The resort sits on Dhidhoofinolhu and is operated by The Lux Collective.
