The Villas

Diamonds Thudufushi runs Beach Bungalows, Beach Villas, Sandbank Junior Suites, Water Villas, Jacuzzi Water Villas, and two-bedroom Pool Water Villas. The signature overwater chain extends in a curving question-mark shape off the south of the island.

Dining

The all-inclusive Diamonds Premium Plan covers all dining: the main Light House Restaurant (international), the Italian Stelle, the over-water Hooked seafood deck, and the bars on the beach and pier.

Diving

The South Ari location is dive-strong — whale-shark encounters at the Marine Protected Area off the south reef are a draw, and the in-house dive school runs daily trips. The house reef along the island edge is creditable.

Logistics

Transfer is a 25-minute seaplane from Velana International Airport. The resort is owned by Italian-Swiss group Planhotel Hospitality and operates a sister property, Diamonds Athuruga, on a neighbouring island.
