MVHOTELS Media began in 2014 as part of a broader mission to transform digital solutions within the travel industry. At the time, the reach and distribution of travel stories in the Maldives were limited — mainstream media coverage was scarce, and the costs of bringing journalists and producing content were high.

To address this, we launched mvhotels.travel as the first platform of its kind in the Maldives. The approach was recognised as innovative and more authentic, and was quickly acknowledged and appreciated by the Maldives travel industry.

Over the past decade, we have continuously evolved — adapting to the needs of both travellers and the brands that serve them. Our focus has always been on sharing the beauty of destinations and bringing their authentic stories to life.

We go beyond ordinary travel content. Every piece we publish — whether it's a resort opening, a route change, a seasonal deal, or a planning guide — is built around a single question: what does the traveller need to know?

Today, MT is the Maldives travel intelligence platform — combining real-time trends, data, and editorial to help travellers decide where to stay and why.
