The Villas
JOALI Maldives runs 73 villas across beach and overwater categories, all with private pools. The flagship unit is the Manta Ray-shaped four-bedroom Beach Residence; the over-water side is anchored by the Sunset Water Villas with private slides into the lagoon.
Dining
The signature venue is Saoke, the over-water Japanese restaurant; Vandhoo handles the all-day international menu, Bellinis is the Italian, and Mura Bar is the lagoon bar. Resident chefs run a rotating tasting menu programme through the year.
Art & Design
JOALI's defining quality is the resort-wide art collection — large-scale commissioned pieces from international and Maldivian artists are sited across the island, including the much-photographed Manta Ray Treehouse over-water sculpture-cum-tasting venue.
Logistics
Transfer is a 45-minute seaplane from Velana International Airport. Sister property JOALI Being, a wellness-focused resort on Bodufushi island, sits in the same atoll and can be combined with a JOALI stay.
