The Villas

Rahaa Resort runs two main villa categories — Lake View Villas set behind the beach and Ocean View Villas with direct lagoon access. The architecture is timber-and-thatch, scaled down compared to the typical luxury Maldives footprint.

Dining

The line-up is led by the Dhirun Bar — two boat-shaped over-the-beach pavilions that are the resort's architectural signature — plus an all-day restaurant and beach bars.

Laamu Atoll Setting

Laamu is one of the Maldives' most remote and untouched atolls — known for surfing (Yin Yang and Mahaana breaks), spinner-dolphin pods, and turtle-rich house reefs. Rahaa is only the second resort to open in the atoll.

Logistics

Transfer is a 55-minute domestic flight from Velana International Airport to Kadhdhoo Airport, then a 30-minute speedboat. The longer transfer is a feature of the southern atolls.
