The St. Regis Maldives, Vommuli Resort has reopened its two-bedroom family villa following a top-to-bottom redesign that adds more indoor space, a much larger infinity pool, and a widened private beach.
The villa, set on the resort's private island in Dhaalu Atoll, has been expanded from 334 square metres to 380 square metres, with the extra 46 square metres added across the indoor living areas. The master bedroom sits on the ground floor with direct ocean views, and a second bedroom upstairs has two beds, configurable for children or additional guests.
The private pool has doubled in size from 15 to 30 square metres, with a new infinity edge looking onto the ocean.
A bigger pool and a wider beach
The most visible change is the pool. The villa's private pool has doubled in size from 15 to 30 square metres and now runs as an infinity edge looking onto the ocean. The private beachfront has also been widened, giving guests a longer, softer stretch of sand directly off the deck.
Tech and butler service
Inside, the villa has been equipped with iPad-based controls covering lighting, climate, and entertainment, designed to let guests adjust the space without having to call for service.
Every villa at The St. Regis Vommuli also comes with the brand's signature Butler Service, which handles everything from unpacking and pressing to arranging in-villa dining and bespoke island experiences.
Who it's for
The redesigned villa is aimed at families and small groups travelling together, particularly those who want a private pool larger than the standard offering and the flexibility of two separate bedrooms.
Getting there
The St. Regis Maldives, Vommuli Resort sits on a private island in Dhaalu Atoll, accessible by seaplane from Velana International Airport in Malé.
