Just got back from Kudadoo — here's my honest take

Spent 5 nights at Kudadoo Private Island. $4,500/night all-inclusive. Here's whether it was worth it: The overwater residences are stunning — 300sqm each with private pools and the best ocean views I've seen. The all-inclusive is truly all-inclusive (unlimited spa, diving, fine dining, Champagne). Food was exceptional, especially the Japanese restaurant. But: only 15 residences means limited social atmosphere, the island is tiny (you walk around it in 10 minutes), and the house reef is average compared to other resorts at this price point. Would I go back? Yes, but for 3 nights not 5.

Great review, Daniel. Your point about 3 nights vs 5 is spot on — we hear this consistently about ultra-luxury private island resorts. The intimacy that makes them special can also make them feel limited on longer stays. For anyone considering Kudadoo: the unlimited spa alone justifies 2-3 nights if wellness is your thing. Pairing it with a larger, more activity-rich resort (like Soneva Fushi, 30 minutes away by speedboat) for a split stay is the sweet spot we recommend.
