>Quote “Food has always been about connection for me, whether bridging flavors, cultures, or people. I’m excited to bring my perspective on food and wellness to JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, where we’ll explore flavors while focusing on sustainability and mindful eating.”

The collaboration will focus on menus that highlight locally sourced ingredients, including produce from the resort’s JW Garden, along with zero-waste cooking techniques.

Three-Day Culinary Programme

The programme begins on November 17 with a five-course dinner at Kaashi, the resort’s treetop restaurant. The menu will include dishes such as Pani Puri, Tom Yum, and Char Siu Wagyu Short Rib, reflecting Chef Kelvin’s multi-cultural culinary approach.

On the second evening, guests will be served another five-course menu at the overwater restaurant Hashi/Shio.

The event concludes with an interactive zero-waste cooking class at Aailaa, the resort’s all-day dining venue. Participants will learn techniques aimed at reducing food waste while preparing dishes using herbs and ingredients from the JW Garden.

Commenting on the collaboration, General Manager Mohit Dembla said:
